Every engagement classified the same way, governed through the same nine gates.

Score the measured scale, apply the sector and obligation overlays, and take the higher of the two. The class then decides the team, the cadence, the monitoring above baseline, the artefacts and who may approve each gate.

Nine gates, one sequence

  1. G0

    Qualify

Decide whether Veritech should pursue this engagement at all.

  2. G1

    Solution and commercial approval

Confirm that what is being offered can actually be delivered, at a price above the approved margin floor.

  3. G2

    Contract and mobilise

Convert an award into an executable engagement with a named team and a start date.

  4. G3

    Discover and baseline

Replace assumption with fact, and record the true condition of the estate before Veritech carries any risk for it.

  5. G4

    Design and build

Build the managed service — the tooling, the standards, the runbooks and the knowledge — before it is switched on.

  6. G5

    Transition and cutover

Take control of the estate and start the service, on a date everyone knew about in advance.

  7. G6

    Hypercare

Carry the elevated risk of the first weeks with elevated attention, and fix what discovery did not find.

  8. G7

    Steady-state handover

Hand the client from the project team to the service organisation, once and cleanly.

  9. G8

    Post-implementation review

Learn something the organisation can use, and find out whether the engagement made the money it promised.
